The Crown Chakra

On Wed. Nov. 25, we donned our Crowns and journeyed to the top of the mountain!

The Crown Chakra, also known as Sahasrara, is the seventh and highest Chakra that is still directly connected with the physical body. It rules the brain and the nervous system. Energetically if offers us a more direct connection with our SOURCE, our CREATOR, THE DIVINE POWER THAT GUIDES US, or whatever image or word resonates for you.

The question we opened with was: When you think of Our Source, what word, name or image comes to you?

Another name that resonates with me is Rob Brezsny's (http://www.freewillastrology.com/) "The Divine Wow! I would also highly recommend his book PRONOIA -- How the Whole World is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings. According to this book, there is a unique spiritual path for every person on this planet. That idea certainly opens up possibilities for exploration and creative inspiration.

Through music, dance and sounding, we then journeyed from the ROOT CHAKRA which connects us with all of life (humanity, animal, plant, mineral kingdoms), to the CROWN CHAKRA which connects us with the SOURCE of All Life.

Then we entered into deep meditation on the Crown Chakra and allowed that energy of the Thousand Petaled Lotus to connect us more deeply with our Source. After some time of enjoying our Divine Connection, during which time the peacefulness in the room was profound, we began to channel Divine Light from our source through ourselves. By this time our Chakras were open and receptive. Light flowed from Source through each of our Seven Chakras, cleansing and energizing, until it moved down through our feet and into the Earth. We ended our meditation by visualizing that every step we take on Earth will be guided by Divine Light and Wisdom. We stretched and moved our bodies to the sound of gentle drumming to bring us fully back and to ground ourselves in this new place.
We didn't have time for journal writing this week but I would highly recommend writing a Conversation or Dialogue with the "Divine Wow!"
We ended our Seven Week Journey Through the Chakras by singing together,
Go in beauty
Peace be with You
Til we meet again in the Light.

PS For some unknown (to me) reason, there is a big gap of empty space between the Third Eye and the Throat Chakra entry. Keep scrolling down through the emptiness after the Third Eye and you will find the remaining November entries.
Namaste
